AT THE SUPERMAKET

OBJETIVE
The proposal is made to make a conversation between two friends, where a dialogue takes place in a supermarket.

DEFINITION

It is understood a conversation in which different adjectives or vocabulary are proposed for the development of the proposed dialogue.


 CARLOS -    Hey Max, Are you busy?
ANDRES-      Not really, why?
CARLOS -     I have to buy some things here in the supermarket.
                           Can you come with me?
ANDRES -     Ok, but we have to hurry because I have little time to help you
CARLOS -     First, I need some bread and some eggs
ANDRES -     Do you want some potatoes?
CARLOS -     No, I don't want any potatoes. I'm trying to lose weight
ANDRES -     Oh, come on! Potatoes are fantastic
CARLOS -     Ok, but only a few
ANDRES -     Do you like fish?
CARLOS -     Yes, I love fish. Please, get me some Ocean Perch
ANDRES -     I'm afraid they don't have any Ocean Perch. What else do you need?
CARLOS -     I need some Salmon and a little sugar.

AT THE RESTAURANT




OBJECTIVE

Use superlatives, expressions and vocabulary to discuss options, indicate the destination and activities and order food in a restaurant.


DEFINITION
To place an order in a restaurant you must use some expressions and use the corresponding vocabulary, taking as an example the nicest, the busiest, the most expensive, the most reasonable, the worst, the farthest. Likewise, these adjectives can also be used to compare restaurants, such as their service, prices or quality of food.

EXERCISES

  • WAITER: What is offered to the Lord?
YOU: As appetizer a Caribbean salad, please.

WAITER: And of entrance that you are offered knight?

YOU: A chicken in pomegranate sauce, please.

WAITER: would you like something to drink?

YOU: Yes, please show me the list of wines

WAITER: Yes sir, of course I'll be right back with the list.


  • WAITER: What did you think of the entrance, sir?
YOU: I found it excellent, long ago did not ate something so delicious.

WAITER: What do you want the gentleman for dessert?

YOU: Yes, please rice with milk and exotic species

WAITER: The gentleman is offered coffee?

YOU: Yes thanks

WAITER: Do you want it with cream?

YOU: With no cream, give me an expresso please, thank you.


  • WAITER: Welcome "delicias tolimences"
JACK: Thank you very much.

WAITER: Do you want to order now?

JACK: Yes, a tamal with a sucker, please.

WAITER: How would you like your tamale, sir?

JACK: Spicy and hot please

WAITER: Would you like chocolate?

JACK: With bread, please.

WAITER: And for the lady?

ANA: Same please, but instead of better coffee chocolate.


  • WAITER: Good evening, welcome, Do you want something to eat? 
MARIA: good evening, yes, a dessert please, pineapple and coconut delight

WAITER: If Madam, I'll bring it right away, Are you offered something to drink?

MARIA: A wine, please.

WAITER: Ok


  • WAITER: Welcome, the lady is offered something to eat? 
DANIELA:No thanks, just a wine

WAITER: Ok, and, the lord is offered something to eat?

CARLOS:yes, a Caribbean salad with a bottle of water, please

WAITER: Okay, I'll be right back
